So, it has been an
exciting month in the Schalow home. We have a big surprise to share,
and I thought that this was probably the easiest way to share with
all of our family and friends.
Jason and I are
going to be grandparents!!
Darian and his
girlfriend Angie are expecting a baby at the end of August. Yes,
they are young and no, it is not the ideal situation. However, we
love Angie and she has been a part of our family for awhile now. And
of course, how could we do anything but welcome a baby with open
arms.
I know there will be
judgment, I know there will be gossip. But what we have here in our
home and our family is stronger than any of that – we have love,
compassion, and understanding.
Please keep Darian
and Angie in your thoughts and prayers, as parenthood is difficult
even in the best of situations.
